Seliger - Art With No Strobes

Sometimes, for even the most talented of photographers, no strobes are necessary. Heck, not even added continuous light sources (besides the sun). Such is the case in this video from GQ behind the scenes with Mark Seliger.

If he's not using strobes... then why is there a Pocket Wizard in his hot shoe????

No strobes used in that video but not for the whole shoot. He's got PW on his camera and a softbox setup in the room....

Now she is complaining about the photos saying she thought they would all be headshots. What a bunch of BS.

so, i read in the newspaper this morning that she hated these photos and called them repulsive (ex: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35875845/ns/entertainment-celebrities/) wha?! was she asleep when she signed the model release, dressed, went through make up, and posed in those "repulsive" ways?! this video shows she's looking at her own shots on the computer, and she agreed to 'go along with it!' so ridiculous.

Looks like he's using a kinoflow in the muppet shots.
